Multi-Purpose Hall
We are stepping into an exciting new chapter for St. Clare!
Our new Multi-Purpose Hall will be a place for learning, fellowship and celebration, welcoming generations of families to come and creating space for ministries, youth and parish-wide events to thrive.
Every gift brings us closer and reduces the amount we need to borrow, making this vision a reality sooner.
This page holds everything you need to know about the project, as well as all updates we want to share with you along the way— so come back frequently!

Commitment Weekend - 2 Weeks Away
May 17, 2026
Dear Friends:
For months, we have prayed, reflected, given gifts and looked ahead to the future of our parish with our Capital Campaign, With Faith & Light we Build Together.
A special moment is coming for our parish family…
In just two weeks, May 30/31 we will celebrate what we are calling “Commitment Weekend”—a moment for every parishioner to respond in faith.
This is our moment.
How will YOU respond?
I ask you this week to pray with this question in mind:
How is God calling me to participate?
Whether through a first-time gift, an increased commitment, or through prayer—every response matters.
I’d like to ask each one of us to take time this week to pray and prepare our hearts for this moment together.
I will continue to keep each of you in my daily prayers.
Have a Blessed Week,
Fr. George

May 10, 2026
Dear Parishioners,
As we continue through this joyful Easter season and look ahead to the great feast days of Ascension and Pentecost, I want to take a moment to say thank you.
Easter reminds us that our faith is rooted in hope, renewal, sacrifice, and the transforming love of Christ. It is also a season of gratitude — for the gift of faith, for this parish family, and for one another.
Over these past months, at St. Clare we have seen that spirit of stewardship and generosity come alive through our Capital Campaign. I am deeply grateful to every parishioner who has already prayerfully participated through sacrificial gifts and pledges. Your generosity is more than support for a project — it is a powerful expression of faith and love for the future of our parish.
I also want to especially thank the nearly 100 volunteers, ministry leaders, staff, and parish families who have generously given their time and talent behind the scenes. Their dedication reflects the true heart of Christian stewardship.
At the same time, our campaign is not yet complete!
I ask for your continued prayers and support as we move forward together.
And I would like to thank each of you for the many ways you continue to support the Campaign through your prayers, service, sacrifice, and love for this community.
May this Easter season continue to renew our hearts and strengthen us as one parish family united in Christ.
In Christ,
Fr. George Snyder
Pastor

Update: We have over 5.1 Million in Pledges
April 28, 2026
Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ:
I have an update to share about the With Faith & Light, We Build Together Capital Campaign – and it is Great News!
We have reached our Challenge Goal of $5.1 million.
This means we now have accumulated enough funds to meet the construction permission requirements to move forward with the Multi-Purpose Hall and Loop Road.
This is something we can all celebrate.
But we are not done yet.
Our Victory Goal is $7.2 million. Reaching this goal will help lower future debt, provide for chairs, equipment and furnishings, and will make our new hall even better for years to come.
We need every parishioner’s help to reach the finish line.
Thank you for your faith, your generosity, and your support.
Together, we have done something great—and together, we will finish strong.
God bless you!

Update: We have over 4 Million in Pledges
April 12, 2026
Dear Parishioners,
What a joy it is to share this moment with you. I am filled with gratitude and hope.
Just a few weeks ago, we launched our Capital Campaign—and already, your generosity is bearing incredible fruit.
We have already reached over $4 million in pledges.
We have exceeded our Celebration Goal.
This is an extraordinary milestone and a sign of what we can accomplish together.
Because of you, we are well on our way to making our new multi-purpose hall a reality—a place where we can better serve our elders, children, families, and future generations to grow in faith and community.
All of this is happening because of you—because of your prayers, your generosity, and your willingness to say “yes” to God’s call.
We will keep you updated each week by sharing our Capital Campaign progress via the thermometer in the narthex.
Now, as joyful as this moment is, we are not finished yet.
There are important steps still to come.
If we stay focused and give of our time, talent, and treasure, I trust the Lord will guide us forward.
And so today, on this Divine Mercy Sunday, I want to extend a heartfelt invitation:
If you have already made your pledge—thank you. You are helping lead the way, and your example is inspiring others.
If you are still prayerfully considering your participation, I invite you now to take that step.
Every gift matters. No gift is too small. What matters most is that we come together—as one parish, one family—each doing what we can.
After all Masses this month, members of our Capital Campaign Committee will be in the narthex to answer any questions you may have about the project or making a pledge. I encourage you to speak with them—they are there to help and represent me. I wish I could meet with each of you personally, but with so many families, I’m grateful for their help in reaching everyone.
Together, we are building something beautiful.
Together, we are answering a call.
And Together, with God’s grace, we will see this vision through.
In Faith and Light, We will Build TOGETHER!
God Bless you all,
Fr. George Snyder

You are Now Invited to Pledge
March 8, 2026
Dear Parishioners,
Just as Jesus met one woman at a well and transformed a town, He continues to meet people right here at St. Clare and in the community surrounding Roseville.
This weekend, we begin a new chapter in that mission.
This week you will be receiving a letter in the mail from me to each one of you that includes a specific request.
This letter also includes a printed booklet that outlines our plans in detail giving you the necessary information so you can consider making an investment in the present and future of our parish.
Feel free to return your pledge card in the mail, drop it off in the Parish Office, or drop it into the offertory basket at mass.
With your generous support, I am confident we will shine a bright light for our current and future parish.
Every gift, regardless of the amount, positively affects our campaign.
God Bless you and Thank you!
Fr. George Snyder
Pastor

You're invited to Pray

Our Capital Campaign Prayer
Heavenly Father,
You are the source of every blessing
and the builder of all good things.
We thank You for the gift of our parish family
and for the many ways
you have guided us through the years
and for our past benefactors
who have gifted us our beautiful church.
As we begin this campaign
to build our new multi-purpose hall,
we place our trust in You.
May this effort be more than bricks and mortar –
may it be a visible sign of our faith,
a home for worship, learning, fellowship and service.
Bless the work of our hands
and the generosity of our hearts.
Open us to Your Spirit,
that we may give joyfully
and participate fully in this mission of growth.
We ask this through the intercession
of our patron saint, St. Clare,
through Christ our Lord.
Amen.
Oracion de la Campana Parroquial
Padre Celestial,
Que este esfuerzo sea más que ladrillos y cemento;
que sea un signo visible de nuestra fe,
un hogar para la adoración, el aprendizaje, la comunión y el servicio.
Bendice el trabajo de nuestras manos
y la generosidad de nuestros corazones.
Ábrenos a tu Espíritu,
para que podamos dar con alegría
y participar plenamente en esta misión de crecimiento.
Te lo pedimos por la intercesión
de nuestra patrona, Santa Clara,
por Cristo nuestro Señor.
We are Planning for the Capital Campaign
November 2025
Dear Parishioners,
I am happy to write to you as your Pastor. My job is to help guide our church family and make sure we use our gifts wisely. This is very important for our parish to grow and stay strong.
Being good stewards means we use our time, talents, and money to honor God and help others. When we do this, our parish becomes a better place for worship, learning, and helping those in need. It also helps us stay strong and secure for the future.
We have a big responsibility to take care of the things our parishioners have given us. This is something the church asks us to do, and it is part of our faith.
As the year ends, I want to thank you for your support. Here are some ways your gifts made a difference at St. Clare this year: We painted the Church and the Morris Center, we upgraded the sound system in the church, we fixed the parking lots, we repaired the roof, and we gave every parishioner a Hallow App subscription.
A few months ago, I shared that we were waiting for the right time to start our next big project: building a new Multi-Purpose Hall. Since then, we talked with different ministries, made sure we have no debt and strong savings, and received support from the Diocese of Sacramento.
Now, we have the green light to begin! We are getting ready for our Capital Campaign. I am working with our Finance and Parish Council, Building Team, and Fundraising Team. Together, we are planning for this exciting work.
Thank you to everyone who offered to help lead the campaign. We will need your help starting in early 2026. There is so much to look forward to!
Please watch for more updates in the bulletin as we begin this new chapter for our parish family.
St. Clare, pray for us!
