Adaptive Faith Formation
Adaptive Faith Formation at St. Clare Catholic Church is a welcoming and inclusive program designed to support individuals with special needs and their families. Through personalized instruction, compassionate guidance, and a nurturing environment, participants are invited to grow in faith and fully participate in the life of the Church.
Students with developmental and/or intellectual disabilities and their families are invited to be part of St. Clare’s individualized adaptive faith formation program. Candidates will focus on preparing to receive their sacraments, working on the skills necessary to attend Mass, and participate of parish life events. We have a team of dedicated St. Clare catechists who work with children, youth, and families according to their gifts. This includes an initial interview meeting with the lead catechist to assess best placement for the child or youth based on strengths and needs.
