Marriage
Marriage at St. Clare Catholic Church celebrates the sacred union of husband and wife rooted in God’s love. Through preparation, prayer, and ongoing support, couples are guided as they begin their lifelong journey of faith, commitment, and family within the Church.
Congratulations and Welcome!
At St. Clare Catholic Church, we are privileged to welcome many couples on this most special occasion, and we do our best to ensure that the day is joyful and appropriately prepared as a liturgical celebration. We invite you to take this unique opportunity to devote the time and attention to reflect and pray about your shared decision to enter into Holy Matrimony, and to love and honor your future spouse all the days of your life.
Sacrament of Matrimony
The matrimonial covenant, by which a man and a woman establish between themselves a partnership of the whole of life, is by its nature ordered toward the good of the spouses and the procreation and education of offspring; this covenant between baptized persons has been raised by Christ the Lord to the dignity of a sacrament.
